Linda Adams is self taught and works in watercolour and mixed media. Her work is highly acclaimed for her perception of colour, in a wide range of subject matter, including landscape, street scenes, flowers and boat yards. She enjoys the challenge of painting 'en plein air' and considers that the atmosphere helps to give the painting a more realistic and sensitive feel. She regularly exhibits at local art societies and in a number of galleries in the South of England. Linda has also exhibited in several major London exhibitions - Society of Women Artists, Royal Watercolour Society Open Exhibition at the Bankside Gallery, Royal Society of Marine Artists in the Mall Gallery and has paintings exhibited at The Patchings as well as the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours.
